    I have appreciated the information you have made available to the
Tommies in recent emails, as well as the exchange about the heritage of
David Thompson.  This matters little, however, if we cannot connect with
David's descendants.
    Can you provide further data on John (2) Thompson, son of David?  What
are your sources or proofs for the John who settled at Mendon being the same
John who was the son of David?  As you no doubt know, Robert Charles
Anderson in his Great Migration study, questions this.  Those of us who
descend from John (2) would like to be able to establish him as our
ancestor. Can you help?  Thanks!
