[Tommies] List Test

Quint,
The conclusions I draw regarding Thomson's identity are totally different. Based on a preponderance of evidence, I focus on David Thomson as a Scotsman from Corstorphine. His stepmother's niece was married to the Sec'y of State of Scotland and there are many other notable connections. Parts of the case have been developed in 4 articles published by the Scottish Genealogical Society. I continue to research and flesh out the story.

It will be a year or more before I am ready to publish. In addition to continued research for more primary source documents, I need to work out details of approvals for publication of illustrations, original texts and pictures.
Genevieve

Hi Gen, I sent this to "Morris" but in case it is not routed correctly here it is again. How will your book differ from "First Yankee", story of the New Hampshire's First Settler, David Thomson 1592-1628 by Ralph E. and Matthew R. Thompson? Quint Thompson

    Alyce,
My intent this time around is to tell the story but in as factual manner as possible. However, it won't be as dry as the other articles I've written on the subject. I intend to hone in on the adventure of the search.

Hi Gen, I'll order from Amazon. They sell it, though it is temporarily unavailable. They suggest trying later. I just don't want to put my email and credit card on another website. I know Amazon well and order from them regularly. I was delighted to see that they sell it. I'll let you know! I'm anxious to read it. Your David Thomson book will be not be a novel? I'd prefer a book that's all facts since he's a historic figure, but a novel would allow you more leeway to make educated 'fillers' which could add interest. Maybe write a screenplay or a novel in addition?

        Alyce,
Ordering from Xlibris is the best for me. Please let me know when you receive the book and what you think about it. Come spring, if your library would like, I could come and do a PowerPoint presentation and reading - that is if they are interested. But first, read the book and if you think folks in your area might be interested, let me know.
        Love

No, Gen, I did not receive your message! I would surely have replied if I had. Thanks so much for keeping me informed. I'm at the website for your WWII book now, seeing how to order. Or do you have some at home that you preordered? I'd rather order from you, if so. Did you decide on the form or style of your David Thomson book?

Did you get the email that I am about to start work on a David Thomson book? The title is "In Search of David (died 1628) and the Alchemy of Democracy." When I sent it out I had an attachment and the email was returned.

PS My WW II story was published last year. Go to www.intheclawofthetiger.com for details. A 2nd book, "EcoTheater and the Global Village" was published a month ago... and now I am ready to resume research on David.
